A quote from Joe, to be found at the Osprey Publishing website:

About Ambush Alley Games

Ambush Alley Games published Ambush Alley, a rule set focused on the difficulties of asymetrical warfare in an urban environment, in 2007 and quickly established themselves as a growing force in modern miniature gaming.
Following up on the success of their original game, Ambush Alley Games released a number of scenario and expansion books focused on subjects as diverse as the Vietnam conflict and the US envolvement in Somalia. In 2009, they released Force on Force, which brought Ambush Alley mechanics and philosophy of play to more traditional, symmetrical conflicts.

Wargaming "Africa" - some miniature comparisons. EDITED edition.

Thanks to Jose V. once again for taking some pictures of his selection of 20mm pewter miniatures for African conflicts. Jose has now added the excellent S&S miniatures that were released just recently over the last few month.

Click the images to see them in full size.

From left: Elhiem; S&S (Shaun was worried these being youth elements); 2 Liberation Miniatures (to get the full spectrum), Mutineer and Flashing Blade (by now, I believe, OOP).

Now more pictures for those with measurements in mind...

...each small square is 1mm.

My kudos to Jose for allowing me to use his pictures. Thanks, mate. ;-)
