Let me introduce you to this post with a little background story as to why I share this in my blog:
when I came accross Cukoo's work (his real name is Torsten), I was impressed how much of all those little details he tried to catch from Afghanistan's scenery and implement it to this display table for a convention. That was before it was fully finished and before I saw any of the vehicles or troops he had ready to be played with. Once he had finished his work, the convention took place and Koppi (Andreas) went there to take a lot of pictures to write a review about how it went.
On various websites that I am member of the pictures were shared and that's how I ended up with seeing those Little Bird helicopters on that gaming table. Looking closer they looked exactly like the ones I once built (see here: Little Bird conversions ). Since I had sold those last year I immediately thought - wow! Those are mine and they found a new home on that spectacular gaming table.
Yesterday evening I was told by Cukoo that my posts about that build were the inspiration for his versions. While these are not my old ones but exact copies, he also told me that my helicopters found a new home not too far away from him. I am happy that people actually use them. In my case they spent a time way too long on the shelves. 😊
Anyway, here are the pictures from Koppi's blog (Andreas) about the convention:

Classic Space Hulk blog #17 Broodlord
Since I want to be able to play all Space Hulk scenarios no matter when they were released I will need a Broodlord for the newer stuff. This miniatures I got off eBay and its out of the recent version of SH.
Pretty basic paintjob, some hacking and slashing on the base to make it fit an after-market resin 50mm diameter base. Blends in quite well with my other 'stealer miniatures.

Classic Space Hulk blog #16 Brother Scipio
I have finished Brother Scipio today. Nothing really special about him. The only conversion is his base as some kind of tribute to the latest 3rd and 4th edition Space Hulk miniature. This completes squad Lorenzo.

Classic Space Hulk blog #14 more Genestealers
No, I am not going to show every single one, I am merely showing that there is indeed progress to paint that bunch.

Classic Space Hulk blog #11
WIP: some people wanted to know how the new Acolyte arms fit on the classic Hybrids. The answer is: they do, but look a little small - unless you put some effort into it. I combined old Stealer arms with a shoulder pad of a Cadian Guardsman and the new parts.
I scratchbuilt a complete heavy bolter from parts of a new Neophyte heavy stubber and Astra Militarum grenade launcher parts as well as an old Ork boltgun (muzzle) and a Space Marine Scout's bipod. :-D

Classic Space Hulk blog #10 part II
The Cult rises! Finished off another set of models today. All weapon combinations shown are made for Space Hulk. However, since Genestealer Cults have just been reintroduced to Warhammer 40k, I figured that some Hybrids with pistols could easily carry some demolition charges in their free hands.
I did not have any of the new bits so these were built completely from scratch using masking tape, broken off 1st edition SH Terminator's antennas and some cut down RTB01 box Beaky Marine scanner device. How do you like them?
Another hybrid I finished today is carrying a Laspistol and Power Sword combination. For 40k he will count as regular Acolyte.
I also figured you guys would appreciate a shot of all Hybrids finished so far - so here you go:
And last but not least: the WIP shot and some preview on what's on the table ;-)
